''Cochylis pallidana'', the sheep's-bit conch, is a moth of the family Tortricidae. It was described by Zeller in 1847. It is found in most of Europe,〔(Fauna Europaea )〕 Asia Minor, Lebanon and Russia.〔(Cochylis at funet )〕 The habitat consists of dry pastures, downland and sand-dunes. The wingspan is 11–14 mm.〔(microlepidoptera.nl )〕 Adults are on wing from May to early August in two generations per year.〔(LOT Moths and Butterflies )〕 The larvae feed on ''Jasione montana''.
